Clinic Lice Comb is robust and therefore lasts for many years, which makes it economical to use, and the lice comb is handy to have on hand if lice are suddenly discovered in children.
A lice outbreak is not a sign of poor personal hygiene or an unclean living environment. Head lice do not carry bacterial or viral infectious diseases.
The most common symptom of lice is itching of the scalp, neck and ears. This is an allergic reaction to lice bites. When a person has lice for the first time, itching may not occur for four to six weeks after the attack.
Lice can be visible but are difficult to spot because they are small, avoid light and move quickly.
Lice lay eggs at the hair roots, and the eggs can be difficult to see because they are very small. They are easiest to spot around the ears and neck.
Already hatched eggs may be easier to spot because they are lighter in color and further away from the scalp. However, the presence of lice eggs does not necessarily indicate an active lice outbreak.
Violent itching can lead to small, red sores and scratches on the scalp that can sometimes become infected with bacteria.
Clinic Lice Comb can be used to remove both lice and eggs. The lice comb is significantly easier to pull through the hair than other dense combs and the teeth are made of surgical stainless steel. The special sanding ensures that the comb slides easily through the hair, while removing both lice and lice eggs. This makes Clinic Lusekam completely unique.
The distance between the teeth on the Clinic Lice comb is specially adapted to fight lice, and the steel teeth do not bend when the hair is combed through. At the same time, the Clinic Lice Comb is handy to have on hand if lice are suddenly discovered in children. You do not have to buy lice repellents first, but can immediately use Clinic Lusekam to remove them.

The hair can be divided into sections with an elastic band or clamp. Pass the comb through the hair from scalp to hard tip. If the hair is knotted, it is recommended to comb it through with a normal comb first. Check the comb for lice and eggs after each stroke. Be especially thorough when checking the hair behind the ears and in the neck.
Comb each section with Clinic Lice Comb and rinse the comb in water, or wipe it off with paper when done.
Should you find eggs glued to the hair, remove it immediately by cutting off the individual hair with scissors, making sure that it is removed. It is important to comb under good conditions, ie. in good light, for example in daylight.
It may also be advisable to wrap a towel around your neck when combing. If lice infection is found, it is important to repeat the treatment in the following days.
For prevention, the hair should be combed at least once a week. This removes any eggs before hatching.
