Herpecilin Patches
Herpecilin Patches for the treatment of cold sores absorb secretions, fluids and pus.
The patches are discreet and transparent, they protect the wound from infection, relieve pain and accelerate the healing process.
Viruses can not normally penetrate directly into the cells, but herpes is one of the few types of virus that has a glycopretene receptor on the surface that can attach to the cell membrane.
The virus then multiplies in the cell nucleus and a large number of virus particles are released.
Cold sores occur on the lips and in the mouth, and are caused by viruses (Herpes Simplex Virus). The condition usually starts with a tingling and itching sensation.
After a few days, blisters form, which rupture, and the wound that forms gives pain and discomfort. Cold sores can be triggered by various factors such as stress, sun exposure, low immune system and menstruation.
The patches absorb secretion, fluid, as well as plaster from the cold sore, relieve the pain and reduce the tingling, itching and burning sensation. Rapid healing is achieved and redness, swelling, scab and blistering are reduced.
Herpecilin The patches also protect the wound and reduce the risk of infection.
Wash hands before and after applying Herpecilin Patch. Immediately before use, the patch is pushed out of the foil package, the protective paper is removed and the patch is applied to the wound.
Avoid touching the adhesive side of the patch. The patch is applied in the evening and after 6-8 hours the patch changes color from clear to a white tone.
The white tinted patch will begin to loosen and be removed in the morning. A new patch is applied in the evening and treatment is continued until the wound has healed.
It is recommended to treat with Herpecilin Gel during the day.
Store at 2-30°C in the original package, out of the reach of children and out of direct sunlight. The Herpecilin product can be disposed of with household waste.

- Do not use Herpecilin Patches if you are hypersensitive to hydrocolloid.
- Do not cut the patch and do not reuse. The product must be handled carefully and according to the instructions.
- If you are not sure if the condition is due to a cold sore, you should contact your doctor before starting treatment.
- Can be used by pregnant and lactating women after consultation with their own doctor.
